| - CLEP & DSST offers you the opportunity to earn college credit for what you already know by taking any of the 33 introductory-level college subject exams with CLEP and 38 subject exams with DSST. | - Because CLEP & DSST are designed for those students who already know the subject, test prep books and digital resources are designed to prepare you for the testing day and to point out areas that need further study using a textbook or coursework. Test prep will not give you the questions that are on the test. |

Your User ID is your 10-digit DoD number located on your CAC or ID card. Not all tests are represented on this resource. What the College Board says about CLEP
The College Board's College-Level Excamination Program (CLEP) has been the most widely trusted credit-by-examination program for over 50 years, accepted by 2,900 colleges and universities, and administered in more than 1,800 test centers. This rigorous program allows students from a wide range of ages backgrounds to demonstrate their mastery of introductory college-level material and earn college credit.
Students can earn credit for what they already know by getting qualifying scores on any of the 33 examinations. While CLEP is sponsored by the College Board, only individual colleges may grant credit towards a degree.
Not all colleges have the same CLEP policies; some colleges accept credit for a few exams, while others accept credit for all of them. A college often grants the same amount of credit to a student who earns satisfactory scores on a CLEP exam as it does for a student who successfully completes the related course.

DSST Get College Credit exams are college subject exams that you can take to earn college credit for knowledge you acquired outside of a traditional classroom.
There are 38 subject exams from which to select in disciplines such as Business, Humanities, Mathematics, Physical Science, and more.
